I wandered lonely as a cloud

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,

why do we yearn to travel? Is it the lust for a change in scenery or perhaps we want to get lost in the crowd in a land so foreign we can be alone without feeling deserted.

Thursday evening CTE Jam

after a most delightful and stimulating Thursday evening, i found myself stuck in a traffic jam in the middle of the CTE expressway at 11pm. the cab driver explained that some dude’s car was pretty smashed up as he suddenly slowed/stopped just before the ERP gantry, causing an accident and consequently, a pile-up.
