i love creating, work with my hands, make something new, watch creations take shape and esp if it hinges on frivolity. love flowers, those psychedelic colours blooming, adding shades, hues, smiles to faces and spaces. no surprise then when i decide that i should crochet some flowers. 

the books from the library are tough to grasp, i dont get the in-between steps. so i went into youtube and found the best tutors from europe quite patiently and repeatedly teaching me how to crochet. The abbreviations can baffle, initially…but i stick to the simple stuffs, making, unravelling the yarns until i get close to perfect petals, changing yarn colours, play with varying needle sizes, matching and mixing and adding pins to the back, tying them to shelves, making coasters. compulsions can be annoying to watch but gratifying to the obsessive when fulfilled. I got cheap yarns from daiso and pretty and quality ones from golden dragon. craft shops revisited. like a good book you can get new stuffs, make use of old stuffs in new ways, like peeling back layers of magic onions. creativity is magical, inexhaustible. when you go away barren or fatigue, it will keep refueling itself so when you are ready once again, it is charged waiting to disarm you, once again.
