Food…perhaps becos it can give us more curves than desired and having to keep them constantly at arm’s length give them more brownie points in terms of desirability…
Along Liang Seah Street, just across the road from Xian De Lai Shanghai cuisine, my favourite Sichuan hotpot place seats this dessert establishment that has expanded. I ordered cream of mango and pomelo (the bitter of the pomelo adds complexity and layers to mere sweetness of the fresh juicy mango) while r orders glass jelly topped with mango. I have yet to try everything but I aim to.
Last sunday, after a long urban hike we gave our belly a treat. Fried fish drenched with freshly squeeze lemon is always served hot off the sizzling pan here. One of my fav place to eat it is at Sakunthala, near Mustafa.
